Perhaps nowhere else on the planet are gender disparities more severe than in football - the disproportionate love, attention and MONEY the men's game gets dwarfs the women's game. But here's the thing - England Women consistently outperform their male counterparts on the world stage. Nike asked us to engage a young female audience in support of the the England Lionesses during their World Cup 2019 campaign. We discovered that our audience lacked role models and inspiration - often looking up to the male players from their Premier League side. Because "you can't be what you can't see" - we created tributes to the Lionesses that told their incredible true stories on the road to international success. We enlisted prominent female grime MC's to narrate our words in tribute to Steph Houghton, Lucy Bronze and Fran Kirby.
